I don't feel like myself and I don't see myself...
Do you ever have a feeling of being lost? I am supposed to be the one helping YOU to be your best self, and I don't even know who I am.
I have been blond for 15 years and with my natural hair color back I am feeling depressed and am having some #serious self-image dysmorphia.
This one is hard...
To be honest, I don't even want to talk about this.
But it is time...
Time to be true to myself, for YOU and for ME!
How #Conflict Leads You To Want To Be Invisible
Are you feeling conflict with being visible? I mean visibility on social media, visibility to your clients, in your relationships, and just in the world in general?
Is it because you are caught up in wanting to be seen as PERFECT or nice and you are afraid that someone will see you in the wrong light?
We become #invisible to feel SAFE. This happens on social media, at work, and with our personal selves. It is normal for us to not want to feel like a target or to not speak out in fear of disagreement.
So how do we create safety amongst conflict?
I talked about some really raw and real stuff in this video.
And I didn’t even try to make it pretty.
It’s just me, being real (and smelly, and make-up free).
Talking about the DIRT.
Talking about the epic failures I’ve had in business.
I went live on Monday to talk about something I’m seeing show up for a lot of my clients.
It’s shown up for me in the past, too.
This is a hard one to share.
Especially for me, right now.
If I know anything, I know the inner critic.
It’s that voice of judgment that holds us back from being who we REALLY are and sharing what we REALLY want to share.
Saying things like “who are you to do this?” and things that are so nasty I won’t even share them here.
That’s why I went live in this video, to share how to deal with the voice of the inner critic so that you can get what you really want!
Is fear holding you back from your creative potential?
That’s the topic I covered in this Facebook Live the other day.
I work with a lot of entrepreneurs, and what I’ve noticed is that they’re afraid of bringing ALL of themselves to the table.
At some point in the past they’ve gotten smacked down.
“I’m too much.”
“People don’t understand me.”
“I have to reign myself in to fit in.”
“I need this corporate job to pay the bills but I feel stuck.”
If that sounds familiar to you, you need to watch this Facebook Live.
I have the answer for you that makes all those thoughts go away.
The answer came from photographing the Dalai Lama…and it transformed my creative business.
Plus, I share my story of feeling stuck. Of feeling like I’m too much. Of feeling like I needed to reign myself in.
That’s why I’m so on fire to share this with you.
Because I’ve been there too. You are NOT alone.
If you’re a creative with a vision who feels like you never fit in…who is always trying to FIX yourself, this video is for you.
